City of La Crosse

La Crosse is a community of approximately 50,000 located between the Mississippi River and the scenic river bluffs.

People are attracted to the area by its natural beauty. The bluffs and river provide many opportunities for recreation and quite reflection. The city boasts numerous parks, including the river marsh that runs through the middle of the city.

La Crosse is a city of good schools, including two universities and a technical college. It is also home to excellent health care facilities. 

While there are many opportunities for employment within the city, La Crosse is still in the midst of a rural area. In 15 minutes, you can get from downtown to a farm.

Dairy farms are prevalent in this area of the state; many farms are organic and a wide range of CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) are available as well.
